The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The support place created for intervention activities a high inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
